Epica PEGASO™ EVOLUTION The Epica Pegaso™ Evolution has been meticulously engineered for equine patients and practitioners. The design team created a concept to keep the horse safe and calm while standing or recumbent. The software interface is intuitive and easy to learn.

So what makes the Epica range different to "normal" CT Scanners?

• High-resolution CT with 3D reconstructions
• Higher resolution than normal CT scanners (far finer Voxel resolution)
• Able to single plane DR x-rays, negating the need for a regular CR or DR system
• Able to do dental x-rays with 3D reconstructions negating the need for a regular dental x-ray system

• Lower power consumption
• Less air-conditioning requirements

So what is the difference between the models?

Epica Vimago GT30™

• Faster (18 seconds compared to 32 seconds for the Vimago HU)
• Dual monitor on control station, =(1 dedicated for fluoroscopy for a full Cath Lab suite including mapping, subtraction, DSA & Burst mode)
• Panel/detector is 33% larger = (much larger scan region, which also means less time & less time under anesthesia)
• Less Radiation
• Soft tissue & Contrast image is highly enhanced

Epica Vimago HU™

• 32 seconds per 360-degree full rotation)
• Calibrated Hounsfield units (the original Vimago L wasn't)
• Approximately 7 inches of volume data per rotation
• 100 microns special resolution
• Soft tissue & Contrast image is superior to Vimago L.
