Warranty - How we back you

 

Warranty is your assurance and peace of mind for what you trust is covered when you make a purchase. Having clarity in what is on offer will give the abilty to make a valued decision with no surprises.

We have a number of different warranties based on what vendors will provide us and what you as customer select. 

If a particular product or solutions requires more information than is here, please ask us.

 

Product Warranty

This warranty covers fautly workmanship and materials. Cost of returning goods, labour and ancillary costs are not covered in this warranty.

Product Warranty - Parts & Labour, Return To Base

This warranty covers fautly workmanship and materials and labour. Cost of returning goods and ancillary costs are not covered in this warranty.

Product Warranty - Hot Swap

This warranty type applies to certain products, generally where the product if faulty will be replaced with a new or refurbished item directly from the manufacturer and you will send you item back directly to the manufacturer. Great if you have a somewhat more critical need, business or amateur such as monitors. Eizo is a great example here, withup 5 year or 60 month hot-swap warranties.

Product Warranty - On-Site

This warranty covers certain products with an onsite warranty, with some limitations regarding travel. If the travel is more than the warranty coverage, this will be charged at the applicable rate. Great if you have a somewhat more critical need, business or amateur such as workstations. Our workstations in partnership with Leader Computers is a great example here.

  • 24-MONTHS-OSW: 24 Months on-site product warranty, repair or replacement, labour covered, some travel covered

Product Warranty - Software Refresh

Where software products have been supplied and have patches and updates covered for a period of time. It is a type of warranty that gives you peace of mind about security updates and patches, upgrades and being kept current. This does not include labour unless you have a Service Level Agreement. Most software refresh packages have options to make them more than the standard 12 months, just ask if you want a longer period.

  • 12-MONTHS-SW-REFRESH: 12 Months patches and updates as a subscription. Labour is not covered.
  • 24-MONTHS-SW-REFRESH: 24 Months patches and updates as a subscription. Labour is not covered.
  • 36-MONTHS-SW-REFRESH: 36 Months patches and updates as a subscription. Labour is not covered.

 

System Warranty

Where we provide an integrated package from more than one vendor, we will provide a warranty certificate with the system with appropraite coverage listed for each element. These warranties are on a case by case basis.

Our goods and services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. For major failures with the service, you are entitled:

to cancel your service contract with us; and
to a refund for the unused portion, or to compensation for its reduced value.
You are also entitled to choose a refund or replacement for major failures with goods. If a failure with the goods or a service does not amount to a major failure, you are entitled to have the failure rectified in a reasonable time. If this is not done you are entitled to a refund for the goods and to cancel the contract for the service and obtain a refund of any unused portion. You are also entitled to be compensated for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage from a failure in the goods or service.
