iQ-ROUTER Reconciliation Plugin
ENSURE COMPLETE AND CONSISTENT PATIENT DATA
The Reconciliation Plugin is an optional module for iQ-ROUTER/PRO/PREMIUM (version 2.1.0 and higher excluding version 3.0) that simplifies the radiological workflow by verifying the consistency of patient data right after data acquisition.
Reconciliation Plugin improves data consistency by:
- Correcting erroneous patient and study data
- Automatically adding missing meta data, e.g. referring physician
- Adding missing vet-specific fields, e.g. owner, species, chip number
WORKFLOW
1. iQ-ROUTER receives a DOCOMO object from an imaging modality and passes it to the Reconciliation Plugin.
2. The Reconciliation Plugin queries the DICOM Modality Worklist of a connected HIS or RIS for fully customizable matching parameters, such as patient ID and/or date of birth and/or accession number, and applies patient and/or study reconciliation.
3. The reconciliation on patient level adjusts the dataset with the correct DICOM header data, e.g. patient name, date of birth, other patient ID (e.g. insurance or national ID), patient’s sex, weight, confidentiality constraint, ethnic group, patient comments, patient state, pregnancy status, medical alerts, additional patient history, allergies, special needs or requesting physician as provided by the worklist. The reconciliation on study level adjusts the dataset with the correct DICOM header data, e.g. accession number, study UID, institution name, names of intended recipients of results, requested procedure comments e.g. to map into study description as provided by the worklist.
4. The Reconciliation Plugin passes the corrected data back to iq router that forwards the data to the PACS.
Note: A valid iQ-ROUTER/PRO/PREMIUM license is required to use the Reconciliation Plugin.
